Throwback Thursday photo… Heading back East from Cali…With the warmth of the Spring sun leading our way!!
It’s been far too long since we last posted. And we have a lot of catching up to do… But here is a sneak-peak from our time in Sedona, exploring the rocks in style with Barlow Jeeps.
The last week has brought about many changes… For the bus and for our souls. Sharing a small space inspires creativity, innovation, and constant self evaluation. We continue to go through the dance of pulling apart and rebuilding something more resonate for our needs as a group. I am thankful for all our growth!
I started our first mural for the bus, while the guys added in our first walls and completed the first bunk. Let’s get this party started…”Intergalactic Planetary”
More pics soon 🙂
Much Love,

Loving the Salt Water pool and hot tub at The Hotel Galvez & Spa… Plus the Market Catch and Corn Bread Muffins are a must 🙂
The Hotel Galvez has many amazing amenities… One of our favorites was the complimentary beach bikes. We were able to tour the historic areas we wanted to, visit cute shops, dine out, catch a movie and a few museums all while on our bike ride. The next day brought coldness and an ice storm.
We had planned to go on a speedboat ride and parasailing but could no longer do so because of the weather conditions, instead we found something warm and adventurous to do at Moody Gardens. We arrived just in time to catch the wild ocean film in 3-D. The dolphins and water drops came jumping off the screen right into my lap 🙂 Next we headed into the rainforest jungle, we even saw a monkey up close and personal. Lots of exotic birds, fish, reptiles and plants. It definitely took us to a different place, no ice in here.
On our way to to the aquarium we again braved the cold outdoors. There was much to see in this pyramid, once more we were transported into another world. Turtles, penguins, seals, river otters, and sharks galore… This was truly an education in other species as well as a great sensory experience.
Back to the warm and cozy Hotel Galvez for a refreshing cup of lemon water and a nice long shower in the most perfect hotel bathroom ever 🙂
We have felt very welcomed since we drove into Texas… All the southern states were kind to drive through. That has only continued to grow once we reached Galveston. The awesome people at Galveston Island Conventions and Visitor’s Bureau helped us to know the best things to do in Galveston in the off-season. January is the coldest month there and this year was no exception, except maybe a bit icier. We planed to go on a speed boat and parasailing but the weather put a stop to that… But that led us to museums, history, ghost stories, great food and an Amazing time at the Hotel Galvez and Spa ( which opened in 1911 and was the summer White House for a year during one of Franklin Roosevelt’s terms. ) —>https://www.facebook.com/pages/Gemini-Extreme-Adventure-Team/420345111395649?ref=hl
