We have felt very welcomed since we drove into Texas… All the southern states were kind to drive through. That has only continued to grow once we reached Galveston. The awesome people at Galveston Island Conventions and Visitor’s Bureau helped us to know the best things to do in Galveston in the off-season. January is the coldest month there and this year was no exception, except maybe a bit icier.
